| Tamara celebrates quad bike success |
| A DINNINGTON teenager celebrated quad biking success after she scooped second place in the British Championships. Fifteen-year-old Tamara Radford was delighted with the result and said she has her sights set on coming first next year. Mum Jane said Tamara has won a number of trophies for the sport. ”Tamara was absolutely delighted with this,” said Jane. ”We’re really proud of her.” ”She was pleased to come second and gutted to miss out on first by point six of a second.” “She goes out nearly every weekend. We ride all over the county. ” Tamara has been biking for three years now and her mum said she got hooked on the sport after having a go on her brother’s bike. She even raised an impressive £2,000 for Breast Cancer at a charity ride at Weston Beach Race earlier this month. Jane said the charity is close to Tamara’s heart after her grandmother passed away from breast cancer last year. |
