The quad rally turned out to be a huge success with fantastic weather and a turn out of over 50 quad bikes and buggy's and many made use of the camping and caravan facilities on the Friday night. There was a ride out for the road legal guys and some twenty or so bikes that left for a couple of hours were greeted by the ice cream van upon their return. There was a hog roast in the evening which was a huge success and tea's and coffee's were on offer for a donation to Great Ormond Street Hospital and a very fruity banana man collecting on a trip round the field. If you were in the market for a quad or buggy then this was the place to gather all the information you could need straight from the horses mouth as it were. A huge thanks to Quadzilla for donating the gate money too, this has made a total of £400.00 for Great Ormond Street Hospital. Also thanks to all that donated prizes Quadzilla, Quad magazine, Quad Heaven, Ensign Motors, Putoline and Bike it. This has given us a base to work from for next year, plans are already being set in motion for the 2010 quad rally and promises to be bigger and better than the 1st event. Please make sure you can come and support this event as it is for you the riders, and even those who just want to gather information on the various types of quad bike or buggy's available on the market before they make a final choice on a possible purchase. Thanks again to all that made this possible and we hope to see you all next year. |
